• -EXCLUSIVE RELEASE- Rak - A name to remember
Hey guys!
Ghost Pictures proudly presents a oneplayermovie directed by sliNK - starring one of germany's finest players "Rak" who actually plays for the #1 EPS team in germany, hoorai.xilence!
I enjoyed the refreshing introduction, the soundtrack and sync throughout the film were also very good. Unlike previous works by Slink, it was nice to see a brighter movie with a more upbeat soundtrack. Console does a great job producing solid frags that mixed with Slinks editing style really came to life. Quality was as usual great, and overall I really enjoyed this film and feel I got a chance to meet Console a bit more up close and personal. Two thumbs up.
Interview
Jinxed interviews films producer, Dany "sliNK" Baron.
1) It's been awhile Dany, why don't you introduce yourself to the few who may be unfamiliar.
Hey, I`m Dany Baron and I`m 18 years old. I live in a small village in Germany which is near Stuttgart. I started playing CS:S in early 2006 and editing CS:S movies in summer 2007. When I don't play games or edit anything I normally play poolbillard with friends which is my biggest hobby next to the computer. Next year I am also up to go deeper into REAL moviemaking and testing out some cameras and stuff because with the time it gets boring to only edit the same old game :)
2) Taking a step back from community movies, what pushed you to do a player movie this time around?
Well, I created some very succesfull community movies already (funeral2, behind blue eyes, etc.) and the most people always said it's nicely edited and stuff BUT the frags are cheated/faked/against low or whatever...
So in the end because of all the flames, I decided to stop producing any community movies anymore because I want to give the people what they really want and that are skilled frags against good and known teams with nice editing.
3) Could you tell us more about the featured player Console?
He's 19, started playing css 5 years ago and stopped for 1 year playing competitive halo pc
Ex-teams: .x7, dtekt, hyrsky, mugNmouse, Envision
Currently: team Exsto
4) What would you feel is different between this film, and your previous works?
As you might see it's a different musicstyle to the most of my other works (emo screaming etc.) and so I tried to edit as good to the musicstyle as possible. Also I tried to take notes on the movie Slife with these cameraangles from my favorite producer "Smerch" as you hopefully can see ;D
And at all, I think it's my best work till yet, even if it's edited very clean and simple.
5) What are your plans for your next movie?
My next movie will be a oneplayermovie about a known german player called "Rak" who actually plays for hoorai which is the 2nd best team in germany behind mTw. Featuring frags only against topteams and also from lan events.
6) What would you like to see more of in future films, and what would you like to see less of?
I would like to see more teammovies like royality for a reason by Deadcell or the Lan79 highlight movie by Eyeshiled with alot reallife and lanfootage so that you get a real feelin of the event!
7) Thanks for taking the time to catch up, any final shoutouts you would like to make.
No problem, it was my pleasure! :)
And yea, I would like to thank all friends and fans out there (you know who you are...!), the Ghost-Pictures Team, all my youtube subscribers, consoLe ofcourse for his great work on the frags and for letting a german cunt like me editing his movie :D And also EVERY single guy who ever has supported me in any possible way and still does!
